Things you don't want to hear when your flying

So I almost got stuck in Kansas City Missouri this week--here is the first thing you don't want to hear:

1. Honey, you can't check in because your flight is tomorrow.
-That is never a good sign

2. When you make it on the plane and the flight attendant is standing almost next to you and asks someone in the cockpit "Are you going to need that duct tape?" It took everything in me not to ask what for.

Something else that I thought was humorous, Adam and I both had to call the City of Springfield because we received mean letters that we didn't pay taxes there last year (um. . .we didn't live there!). So Adam called first and tried to take care of both of ours, but they said I had to call and do it myself. I called the next day and the gentleman I spoke with asked if I needed to fix my husband's as well. I explained that he was told that I needed to call myself, and he responded with "Well, that's just horsepoop." Wow, go Springfielders.
