Our little Tiger, class of 2031

It has been a busy week here for us! Friday night we were invited over to Addison's house for an impromptu cookout. We are so lucky to have such great friends! It's so nice to be able to go to someone's house that has a baby so you don't have to worry about taking everything with you! (Thanks, Amanda!) Sometimes as homesick as I get, it's fun living in such a large city. Monday night my aunt and uncle flew through Atlanta and had a long enough layover that we got to meet them for dinner:-)

Last night we made it downtown for an alumni event for Wittenberg! So, most of you know that Adam and I went to a small liberal arts university in Ohio and that is where we met. Last summer they started a tour called Witt Nation where they pack 2 recent grads into a van and send them cross country stopping in many different cities and holding alumni events. Well, last night they were in Atlanta and we dressed Jake in his Wittenberg onesie (Thanks, Grandma!) and he was the hit of the party! Here are the pictures of the event on the Witt Nation website (there is a picture of Jake and another baby that is 2 months older than Jake, and one of me and Jake along with the other baby and his mommy.)

Today Jake and I had a lunch date with a friend that is going to have a baby in November! Yeah, another playmate for Jake that's a little boy!! Let me tell you, don't ever go to lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen. I'm sorry, but $17 for lunch is outrageous. Someone needs to tell them to get a lunch menu.

Way to show your Tiger pride, Eskews! The Witt Nation event looks like fun! Roni and I went with Melissa last year and ours was filled with a lot of very, very recent grads - ATL looks like it had a good turnout!
