Readjusting to life

We are so lucky to have such great friends! We were invited on a beach vacation with 3 other couples and kids--and it was a blast. Chaotic, but a blast! With 8 adults and 5 kids it was bound to be an adventure filled vacation! Josh and Amanda were awesome hosts at their parents beach house. Jake HATED his first trip to the beach (and his second trip. . . ). He didn't like the sand, the water, the sea shells. He and I pretty much sat on a blanket the entire time and had snacks. Thank goodness the house had a pool and that's where we spent most of our time. We've been home for just about 2 weeks now and I still feel like we are settling back in--the days seem kinda lonely now that my friends aren't around all day long to talk with. Lots of pictures here from the trip.
