Random tidbits of information

So I just left the eye doctor for my one week follow up, and good news, my corneas are healing 'beautifully!' The pain is all gone except for random shooting pains which normally occur between 2 and 4am. I found out that those are very normal and they reason it hurts is because they are exposed nerve endings trying to heal. I can see 20/30 out of my left eye and 20/40 out of my right eye. The most amazing part of it all is that I can now see my alarm clock in the middle of the night, and not only that, I can actually read Adam's on the other side of the bed when he gets up. A lot of pain, but now I am actually to the point where it does seem worth it. . .thank god.

I was in Alabama earlier this week for work and a random moment happened. I was waiting to leave one of my stores and what appeared to be a nice gentleman started up a conversation with me. Then I realized he had like 5 teeth total. The thing is, I only understood 3 words the entire conversation. I picked up tools, and tool bag. That's it. Remember the movie Water Boy? And Farmer Fran? That's literally who I was speaking with. I am talking low country, back woods Alabama gibberish. I was so glad I was leaving.

I also have another what I believe to be southern saying. Really have never heard this one before. I was sitting with my friend Melissa at one of Adam's soccer games and we were talking about the routes that we took to get there. Once I told her how we came, she exclaimed, "Well, you just took the long way around your ass to get to your elbow!" I mean it makes since, but I certainly got a good laugh out of it!
