Back to school. . .

Every year I sing the Back to School song from Billy Madison on the first day of school. Usually I don't sing it until late August, but this year I sung it this past Monday! Why in the world does school start so darn early down here? Geesh, it's still summer to me! I can't even stay up late to watch the Olympics. What a tragedy. I know we get done the week before Memorial Day in May, but I won't even be around to appreciate that. I am planning on staying home once the little bambino is born in February. (186 days to go now!) Anyways, it isn't too bad, so I can't be that upset. With our alternative school, high school students only attend for 3 hours a day. We have 3 sections that they can choose from, 8-11, 11-2, or 2-5. Well, right now our 9 students have all chosen 8-11, so we don't have kids for the afternoon. It's very nice, and it's great to be able to get caught up on paperwork, but I'm just wondering how long it is going to last. Cross your fingers for me that it lasts a while!!
