We made it!

We successfully made it to Chicago and back with a baby! Jake's first plane ride was better than I thought it would be. He threw one tantrum and cried himself to sleep. To me it seemed SO loud and that it lasted so long, but it maybe lasted 10 minutes tops. He did the same thing coming home as well. When I apologized to the passengers around us they all said it didn't bother them and that's just what babies do. I don't know if they were just trying to be polite, but I didn't want to be that parent that everyone hated because of their kid. On the trip to Chicago Jake wanted to check out what an airplane bathroom looked liked so he pooped. For those who are wondering, yes airplanes do have changing tables in the bathroom, and no, it is not easy to change a diaper on a plane. We were delayed both directions which sucked, but we survived.

It was great to see my dad. My Grandma also joined us which made me feel better about traveling for some reason, even though she didn't travel with us, just met us in Chicago. My half-sister's baby is the smallest baby I have ever held--she was born at 31 weeks. Technically she isn't even supposed to be here yet, but she is thriving. Here are the pictures from our trip!
