Halloween is approaching!

I have never been so excited for Halloween! I think it's because I get to dress up this adorable child of mine and parade him around:-) Yesterday we went to pick pumpkins, went to the Smyrna Jonquil Festival (it's like a daffodil, it's our city flower) and then last night Jake's first Halloween party with all the other babies! Here are pictures from yesterday along with some other random pictures from the last week.

Jake has been super busy! The little guy now pulls himself up to a standing position, so we had to drop the crib way down--I really thought he was going to make it out of it before we did it! He is also crawling now--holy crap! You can't take your eyes off of him for a second-keeps me on my toes:-)

2 weeks ago we made the trip to Ohio to help cheer up my Grandma who got some not so great news. . .It was terrible circumstances, but Jake got to meet his 'Aunt' Cole for the first time! We also took the time to do a family picture with all my cousins and spouses to help cheer up Grandma as well. She was so surprised! (Please don't post it on Awkward Family Photos. . .I think it's good). Here are a lot of pictures from Ohio. Please be warned, there are a LOT of Jake--my cousin has a suped up DSLR camera so I made him take a ton of Jake in his Halloween costume to capture the perfect expression to send out to family. There are some cute ones! I also found this adorable rocking chair in my Grandma's basement so I took some pics of Jake in that. I then found out it was my Grandpa's rocking chair and it was 85 years old! My Grandma had also saved my bouncy seat from '78 and Jake played in that as well. Seemed a little dangerous, but he enjoyed it. My how baby equipment has changed!
