Pumpkin Picking!

We headed up to northern GA (I thought we were going to end up in South Carolina!) to Burt's Pumpkin Patch with the soccer mom group. 4 adults and 5 kids. Jake LOVED it. I swear the kid was smiling almost the entire time. It took him a while to get over wanting to push the buttons on the Coke machines, but all in all it was a great time! Pictures here!

Check out Jake's new shirt

Yep, you read right, Jake is going to be a big brother! We have held off on announcing it so we would be able to tell our friends in person while we were in Ohio for Homecoming. It was a very difficult wait, but well worth being able to tell people in person. I am currently 15 weeks and due on April Fool's Day (which just happens to be my Grandma's birthday!!!)

10 year Witt reunion

So this past weekend Adam, Jake and I made the trek to Ohio for our 10 year college reunion. It was so good to see all of our old friends.

Friday night Adam and I made it out for date night #2 since Jake was born:-) A big thank you to Aunt Linda and Gma for their babysitting efforts. We had a wonderful evening at The Elevator, our favorite Ohio restaurant, plus we got to meet up with a Becky, who wasn't going to be able to make it to the reunion.

Saturday we were super busy with activities on campus--some pictures here. I must admit for some reason I was a little emotional walking around campus. We walked past Weaver Chapel and it just seemed so surreal that Adam and I met at Witt, got married in the Chapel and here we were walking around with our son. It just seems like things have come full circle and I was so happy to think about how far we have come.

Another cool thing is that we now have a family picture standing on the Wittenberg seal, which you can only step on after you graduate, and we have a wedding picture in the same spot. The weekend was just so full of memories!
