What great news!
Adam's bimonthly All About Beer magazine came yesterday, check out this report:
Beer after Exercise--Not Water
Researchers led by Professor Manuel Garzon of Granada University in Spain have concluded that beer can help people rehydrate after strenuous exercise better than water. It seems that the bubbles in beer help quench thirst faster and the carbohydrates in the beer replace lost calories. The researchers tested 25 college studetns who performed strenuous exercises in 104-degree terperatures. AFter the exercise, the group given beer fared "slightly better" in rehydration than those who drank water.
Thats it, I'm working out with beer from now on!
